			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I led the first day of our two-day professional development here at XHIS. Our current focus is adapting our base American curriculum into the MYP framework. (We&#8217;re already well on the way with the PYP.)

<div>Our task was to take our current curriculum documents and to transform them into a system more amenable to the MYP framework. The faculty worked well and seemed excited by the challenge. Integration within particular subjects will be our biggest challenge as, up to this point, our subjects have been taught quite discretely, though there is considerable interdisciplinary collaboration going on.</div>
